After almost 10 months of the start of the Libyan revolution, Almedina has launched today its new website, and has resumed business as usual trying to recover from the events of the revolution.

Almedina detained staff at Gaddafi’s compound prison of Ain Zara were released tonight, after spending 37 days in prison without any official charge.

Almedina Offices raided in Tripoli, and staff arrested by Gaddafi’s forces

At around 7pm, the company’s headquarters were surrounded by a good number of Toyota LandCruiser cars, and the militant officers belonging to Gaddafi’s security forces have raided the company’s location at Al Syahyha West of Tripoli. As a result all Almedina Equipment were confiscated and taken away, while the managers of Almedina were arrested.
